民國(guó)初期，五命河接連發(fā)生懸案。河神八爺和徒弟月兒在村民秋生的邀請(qǐng)下，為自己中邪的姐姐驅(qū)除邪祟。隨著八爺?shù)牡絹?lái)，慢慢揭開了五命河死亡案件背后的真相，原來(lái)這一切和當(dāng)?shù)馗患澤贍斿X金明脫不了干系，而接連慘死的村民背后，也暗藏了一起人性慘案。
